Product Introduce

Galvanized Plate is a metal material made of a zinc layer on the surface of iron-based materials.
It has excellent anti-corrosion, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as good plasticity
and weldability.

The raw materials for making galvanized sheets mainly include two parts: base material and coating.
The base material is generally cold-rolled plate, hot-rolled plate or electrolytic plate, etc., while the
coating is an alloy layer composed of zinc and other elements, which can effectively prevent oxidative
corrosion of the base material.


The manufacturing process of galvanized sheets is generally divided into the following steps:

1.Surface treatment
First, the surface of the substrate needs to be treated to remove oil, rust and other impurities on the surface to
facilitate the subsequent adhesion of the coating.

2. Pickling treatment
Next, pickling treatment is required to remove the iron oxide scale on the surface of the substrate and enhance
the adhesion of the substrate surface.

3. Immersion plating treatment
The pickled substrate is immersed in a plating solution containing zinc salt, and after an electrochemical reaction,
a zinc layer is deposited on the surface of the substrate to form a zinc plating layer.

4. Drying treatment
The galvanized sheet is dried to remove moisture and volatile matter from the surface, making the galvanized
layer stronger.

5. Coating treatment
If necessary, the surface of the galvanized sheet can be coated to increase the durability and aesthetics of its surface.
